About
It cannot breathe once it stops swimming, so it keeps moving with its mouth open. Some members of this unusual group of fish can hold their body temperature above that of the surrounding seawater. Found in the East China Sea, along the west coast of Kyushu, and around Okinawa and the Nansei Islands.
